  • If you pass away your RV loan is fully repaid, First Canadian will pay off the insured balance owing directly to your lender. This leaves your family with an asset instead of a liability.

  Disability Insurance

  • Disability insurance is designed to protect you from the financial risks of an interruption in your ability to earn an income.
  • If you become sick or get injured on or off the job, and are unable to earn an income, First Canadian will pay the insured biweekly RV payment on your behalf directly to your lender so you can focus on healing without worrying about your RV payments.
  • Benefits continue for as long as you remain disabled, and you may claim as many times as necessary during the term of your coverage. Payments are made directly to your lender.

  Critical Illness Insurance

  Platinum Security Protection is an effective theft deterrent system to keep your car secure.

  A non-removable, police traceable identification code is permanently imprinted onto selected body panels of your RV. The identification code is registered into a national database that is cross-referenced to the manufacturer’s Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), the selling dealership, and the RV’s owner.

  What happens if your RV is ruled a total loss? Will your insurance company provide a payout that covers the full balance owing on your finance contract? Probably not. Insurance companies usually calculate the payout based on the current market value of the RV, so it’s possible that the payout will be less than the amount still owing on the RV at the time of total loss. You are responsible for paying the difference between the insurance payout and the amount still owned on the finance contract.

  In the event of a total loss of the RV, Millennium Asset Protection intends to reduce (possibly eliminate) the difference between the outstanding loan amount and the amount paid by your primary insurance policy for the vehicle (to a maximum of $30,000).

Most manufacturer plans tend to cover the period of your RV’s life when things don’t break, and most often it’s not until after the manufacturer’s warranty period has expired that things start to go wrong.

  A First Canadian Protection Plan (FCPP) can guard you against unplanned repair expenses.

  Benefits Include:

  • Coverage in Canada and the continental United States.
  • Repair costs paid quickly and directly to the repair facility.
  • Transferable coverage if you sell your car to another individual.
  • Low deductibles – your choice of $50 or $100 deductible, reduced by $50 if repair is carried out by the selling dealer. If the same component fails again, no deductible will be charged for its repair or replacement.
